The Nigerian equities market recorded another up day, as the NGX All-Share Index (NGXASI) closed the day up by 0.20%, to bring the Year-to-Date returns up 12.41%. The All Share Index closed at 48,366.69 against the previous close of 48,270.23, volume traded decreased by -0.25% from 185.13M to 184.66M, while market turnover (the total value of shares traded) increased by 38.42% from NGN2.58B to NGN3.57B in 3,189.00 deals.
Market breadth (0.96x) signified Twenty-four (24) advancers, as against Twenty-five (25) decliners. Volume was up for 70 companies and down for 67

HONEYWELL FLOUR MILL PLC (HONYFLOUR) topped the advancers list closing at N2.28 with a gain of 8.06% followed by CHAMPION BREW. PLC. (CHAMPION) which closed at N3.75 with a gain of 7.14%.

On the flip side UPDC PLC (UPDC) and WEMA BANK PLC. (WEMABANK) topped the decliners log with a loss of -7.07% at a close of N0.92, and -6.12% to close the day at N3.22 respectively.

Market Trend - ASI (NGX All-Share-Index) With 50 & 200 Day MAvgs Chart
