The Nigerian equities market recorded another down day, as the NGX All-Share Index (NGXASI) closed the day down by -0.05%, to bring the Year-to-Date returns up 6.38%. The All Share Index closed at 54,888.48 against the previous close of 54,915.39, volume traded increased by 646.50% from 156.97M to 1.17B, while market turnover (the total value of shares traded) increased by 83.83% from NGN1.56B to NGN2.88B in 3,066.00 deals.
Market breadth (1.26x) signified Twenty-nine (29) advancers, as against Twenty-three (23) decliners. Volume was up for 69 companies and down for 75

Access Holdings PLC (ACCESSCORP) topped the advancers list closing at N9.00 with a gain of 7.14% followed by CUTIX PLC. (CUTIX) which closed at N2.23 with a gain of 5.69%.

On the flip side STANBIC IBTC ETF 30 (STANBICETF30) and WAPIC INSURANCE PLC (WAPIC) topped the decliners log with a loss of -10.00% at a close of N238.50, and -9.52% to close the day at N0.38 respectively.
