Dear All,

In line with the Exchange?s Business Continuity Plans, NGX will be conducting a Full Disaster Recovery (DR) Failover Test on Saturday, December 13th, 2025, from 9:30 am to 2:30pm.

The objective of the test is to ensure that all our stakeholders can continue to use the Exchange?s applications and Trading Engine in the event of disruption.
Kindly follow the steps below to configure the DR VPN on your system for this exercise.

Please note that this must be done for new users who do not have DR VPN already installed and can only be done on the test date (Saturday, December 13, 2025) from 07:00 am.


1.From your computer, open your Web browser and go to https://portaldr.ngxgroup.com 

2.Type in your Domain Credentials (Username and Password) and displayed captcha. Click Login. 

3.Once logged in, scan your OTP using google authenticator. (this is for DR connection) 

4.To the top left corner of your screen, click on proceed to login. This will take you back to step 1. 

5.Log in with your username, password+OTP and displayed captcha. Click Login. 

6.Once logged in, on the VPN page. Click Download for Windows, macOS, Linux as shown below, your configuration file will be automatically downloaded to your system, in the download folder. 

7.Open Sophos connect and click on the 3 dots to your top right corner, then select import connection. 

8.Browse to your downloads and select the file you just downloaded then open it to import. Once done you will see 2 IP addresses in your Sophos Connect. 

9.Rename the connections: click on the settings icon, to the right of the IP 196.29.47.238 and select rename, change it to Sophos DR, do same for the second IP 196.29.47.242 and rename as Sophos HQ
