                                                                     CBP DAILY FINANCIAL MARKETS UPDATE

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization decreased by 0.42%, while the Year-to-Date return stood at -21.60%. The All Share Index closed at 22,456.32 against the previous close of 22,550.83 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦7.723 trillion against previous close of ₦7.756 trillion. Volume traded increased by 30.66% from 196.258 million to 256.439 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 17.86% from ₦1.674 billion to ₦1.974 billion in 4,731 deals. 

The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 204.425 million shares exchanged for ₦1.093 billion. Conglomerates came next with 18.732 million shares traded for ₦0.06 billion, Consumer Goods, Oil And Gas, Industrial Goods sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.           

Zenithbank, Diamondbnk, Guaranty, Transcorp and Fidelitybk were the most active stocks by volume. Intbrew, NEM, Unitybnk, UCAP and Zenithbank emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Okomuoil, Guinness, Champion, Oando and Diamondbnk topped the losers chart.
