It also provides commercial insurance products, such as marine, construction all-risks, operators extra expense, plant all-risks, aviation refueling liability, onshore and offshore property damage, workmen's compensation, group life and personal accident, fire and burglary, consequential loss, marine hull, public liability, product recall, professional indemnity, money policy, goods in transit, fidelity guarantee, contractors all risk, erection all risk, electronic equipment policy, machinery breakdown, and oil and gas insurance products, as well as risk retention funds and bonds. In addition, it provides portfolio management services; health care services through health care providers; and property development and investment services. Mansard Insurance PLC distributes its products through brokers, agencies, and direct marketing programs. The company was formerly known as Guaranty Trust Assurance Plc and changed its name to Mansard Insurance PLC in July 2012. The company was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria.
